Procrastination is one of the major killers of great ideas and opportunity. I’m sure many of us have been in situations where we constantly use words like “I will do it later”, “let me rest for a bit”, “I can’t come and kill myself” and many more excuses (procrastination slang).

These are only a few out of the many slangs that people use. Leave your most common procrastination phrase in the comment section. Mine is, let me quickly do this first.

Alright guys, if you must deal with procrastination, then you must understand the causes or the things that trigger and make procrastination a daily sickness.

They are;

Assuming you have enough time to spare

Assuming you have many alternatives

Spending too much time on the internet

Once you can determine the major causes, that is, why you end up not achieving all the things you thought of or why you start and never finish them up. Then next step would be to face them head-on

Below are a few tips on how to deal with procrastination

Write down your agenda for the day

Allocate time to each of the tasks which include surfing the internet (this may seem a bit difficult at the beginning but proves effective with consistency)

Try all your possible best to keep away from distractions.

Treat yourself (this serves as a big encouragement to more)

Once you can do this, then, there is progress. The next step would be to work with the allocated time and listed activities. But remember, you have to put your heart into it if you really want it.

Thanks, guys for taking out time to read this post. Have more tips on how to deal with procrastination? Don’t hesitate to share in the comment section, I’ll love to know them and so would the world.

Have an amusing month.

Ngwa, chop kiss!
