Samsung Galaxy A21s

If you ever ask the question, How can I restart my Samsung Galaxy A21s?

Here is a post on it, whether it’s stuck on the home page or blank screen.

As long as you haven’t forgotten your password, this is the post for you.

Get in here!

(Pardon the story that follows, I had to show it just as it happened.)

Yesterday, I almost lost my mind when my phone couldn’t recognize my touch on the screen. All other functions; the volume high and low, power button and fingerprint was functioning properly.

My phone already had a crack a day after purchase (don’t ask me how and no, I’m not careless), I was scared it had packed up finally.

Questions like; when did it slip out of my hands and how much would a new screen cost? (although I no get money) Kept popping in my head.

I was in transit when this happened and couldn’t wait to get home to try all the many solutions I thought I would find online.

No matter how bothered I get about a situation, I always try to troubleshoot before reaching a final decision.

While trying to decipher what was wrong (although a part of me thought it was a screen problem), I stumbled upon a soothing eye-opener.

Which is; the Samsung A21s has some bugs and there were common technical problems with this phone. You guessed right! A stuck screen was a part of it.

As much as it wowed me, it was a soothing discovery.

Funny enough, I heard somewhere far within my head; ‘Now is a good time to grab some ice cream, don’t you think’.

Snap out of it, I said to myself. This is serious business.

Okay, back to business.

I was 70% certain it wasn’t an actual screen fault, the 30% was however there because the article I saw reads, ‘as long as your screen is not broken, it is a firmware problem that can be fixed’.

But my screen was broken! argh!

What I found online

Most of the articles online were about forced reset, and I wasn’t ready to lose all of my data (especially the pictures of my shugs)

In the course of my research, I mistakenly typed Samsung Galaxy S21 and lots of articles came up, I chose to watch a YouTube video that I can easily follow through. Anyways, I was a few seconds into the video when I realised it wasn’t the a21s that was being talked about.

I watched it to the end. (it was a force reset video, the technique I gained from it however changed my life)

So, without further ado,

How To Force Reboot or Restart a Galaxy Samsung A21s

I would have made a video but I’m not a tech guy with all ’em gadgets but why am I writing this? You will obviously need this knowledge when you find yourself in a similar situation.

Just follow through, it’s gonna be easy peasy. Here goes…

  • To begin with,

You want to get your phone plugged into a power source before trying anything out. (I don’t know why, and I’ll leave the space for you to research and share with us all)

I connected it to my laptop, as seen above.

  • Is your phone plugged in?

Now, hold the volume down and the power keys on your phone. It should go off after a few seconds.

  • You’ll see the round icon with the battery life percentage (because it’s plugged into a power source).

  • At this stage, release the keys. You have successfully turned off your phone
  • Press the power button as you would and release the key immediately you see the Samsung display interface.

There you have it, you have successfully turned on your phone.
